Interns here will be a part of a push to locate and build out business opportunities for the most basic consumer needs, including groceries, clothing, domestic needs and more.
Job description:
Business development interns at this company should expect to play a large and important role in identifying, vetting and closing new business deals in a variety of sectors across Asia. Regular job duties include the following:
- Research and maintain knowledge of industry events, publications and news in order to identify, locate and track trends and trendsetters
- Reach out to potential business partners to pinpoint and present new opportunities
- Investigate and assess potential deals through analysis of factors including market strategies, deal requirements and financial considerations
- Evaluate company options for each deal and work toward resolution of any internal issues to move toward recommendations
- Assess and manage risks of each potential business deal and develop strategies for negotiation based on standing strategies and operations as well as new business needs and goals
- Finalize and confirm new deals through requirement coordination and alignment and contract management
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times in order to protect the value of both our organization and new business partners
- Participate in constant professional training, education and networking in order to maintain a high level of awareness and knowledge of job duties and role
- Seek to accomplish new requirements as needed and strive to locate additional opportunities to enhance value at our company
